Complete Genome Sequence of Macrobrachium rosenbergii Golda Virus (MrGV) from China

Summary: A variant of the Macrobrachium rosenbergii golda virus (MrGV) was found in Chinese prawns and compared with a variant reported in Bangladesh. Although there is currently no evidence that this variant causes disease, it is important to be vigilant as it may lead to mass death of prawn larvae.
