Early detection of severe diseases like cancer is essential for public health and safety. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) with excellent electrochemiluminescence (ECL) properties have gained significant attention for sensing cancer biomarkers.
Early detection of severe diseases like cancer is an urgent need for public health and safety. It can determine by using synthesized materials for sensing cancer biomarkers. Electrochemiluminescence (ECL) sensing of cancer biomarkers is getting much more attention these days. Metal-organic frame-works (MOFs) show excellent ECL properties and are getting much attention for sensing cancer bio-markers. The functionalities present and tunable structure of MOFs provide a great sensing platform. This review summarizes the mechanistic study of detecting cancer biomarkers using MOF materials. Compelling goals such as efficiency, fabrication of MOFs, immobilization or encapsulation by nano -particles, organic or inorganic lumiphores, and detection range and limit have been studied and described well.(c) 2022 Elsevier B.V.
