A palladium-catalyzed direct alkenylation method for alkyl chain-substituted tetrathienoacenes has been developed under mild conditions. This efficient and viable approach allows for the synthesis of various dialkenylated tetrathienoacenes using different functionalized alkenes as coupling substrates.
The palladium-catalyzed direct alkenylation of alkyl chain-substituted tetrathienoacenes has been developed under mild conditions. This effective and feasible approach could be readily applied to a variety of dialkenylated tetrathienoacenes using different functionalized alkenes as the coupling sub-strates, such as linear a,b-unsaturated esters, alkenyl phosphonate, sulfone, acrolein, asn styrene derivatives.(c) 2022 Elsevier Ltd.
