A copper monosulfide-nanoparticle-based fluorescent probe for the sensitive and specific detection of ochratoxin A

Ruipeng Chen et al.

Summary: A rapid and sensitive method for detecting OTA was developed using CuS-Ab NPs and a Cu2+ fluorescent probe, with a detection range of 0.1-100 ng mL(-1) and a limit of detection of 0.01 ng mL(-1). The assay was successfully tested in corn, soybean, and coffee samples, with recoveries ranging from 94% to 110%. This approach offers a new method for detecting mycotoxins and other small-molecule analytes, with potential applications in food safety and quality control.
