Overfitting One-Dimensional convolutional neural networks for Raman spectra identification

M. Hamed Mozaffari et al.

Summary: This study aims to enhance the identification capability of handheld spectrometers by utilizing a one-dimensional Convolutional Neural Network (1DCNN) trained on millions of Raman spectra augmented from a database. Experimental results show that 1DCNN can accurately identify a pure unknown Raman instance from thousands of classes.

Advanced sample preparation techniques for rapid surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy analysis of complex samples

Huasheng Lai et al.

Summary: Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) is a powerful analytical technique for fast and sensitive analysis of trace analytes. However, the matrix interference effect in complex samples limits its rapid analysis. Therefore, proper sample preparation techniques are necessary to address this limitation and improve SERS analysis.
