Electronic structures, bonding aspects and spectroscopic parameters of homo/hetero valent bridged dinuclear transition metal complexes

Oval Yadav et al.

Summary: Research on bridged dinuclear metal complexes plays a significant role in understanding the structure and mechanism of enzymes. This study presents the first density functional theory (DFT) investigation of bridged non-heme metal complexes based on the N-Et-HPTB ligand system. The spectroscopic and molecular-level analysis provides insights into the structural and electronic properties of these complexes.

Structure formation, optical properties and energy loss functions of meso-tetraphenylporphyrin manganese(III) chloride complex thin films for energy conversion applications

M. M. Makhlouf

Summary: Thin films of meso-tetraphenylporphyrin manganese chloride complex (MnClTPP) were prepared by evacuated thermal evaporation technique, and the structure formation was identified using atomic force microscopy and X-ray diffraction techniques. The annealing process improved the performance of the films, resulting in nanocrystalline structure formation and changes in absorbance spectra.
