Summary: This study examined the effects of heart rate variability biofeedback (HRV-BF) on autonomic nervous system (ANS) reactivity and recovery during anger recall tasks in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD). The results showed that HRV-BF reduced ANS reactivity during anger events and increased ANS recovery after anger events in CAD patients.
