Electrical conductivity of the quark-gluon plasma: perspective from lattice QCD

Gert Aarts et al.

Summary: This article discusses the electrical conductivity of quark-gluon plasma determined by lattice QCD and reviews various methods for spectral reconstruction. Despite differences in lattice setups and methods, there is noticeable consistency in the conducitivities obtained. For quenched QCD, little temperature dependence of sigma /T is seen, while for QCD with dynamical quarks, a reduction of sigma /T near the thermal crossover is observed.
