Helioscope for gravitationally bound millicharged particles

Asher Berlin et al.

Summary: Particles emitted efficiently from the solar interior, if they are light and weakly coupled to the solar plasma, form a gravitationally bound density called a "solar basin". We propose "direct deflection" as a powerful method to detect this population of millicharged particles. By distorting the flow of these particles with an oscillating electromagnetic field and measuring the distortions with a resonant LC circuit, we can explore new regions of parameter space.

Dark QED from inflation

Asimina Arvanitaki et al.

Summary: This paper demonstrates that interactions within the dark sector can lead to significant changes in the mass of dark matter particles, impacting upcoming experiments. The presence of dark electrons interacting with dark photons results in a wide range of dark matter masses.

Light(ly)-coupled dark matter in the keV range: freeze-in and constraints
