Effective dynamics of the quantum falling particle

Summary: The study analyzed the problem of a quantum particle falling under a one-dimensional constant gravitational field, known as the bouncing ball, using a semiclassical approach. The system can be exactly solved in this case and exhibits non-classical behavior in rebounding.
