Laser-wavelength dependent characteristics of protons emitted from the palladium plasma

Summary: This study reports on the experimental findings regarding the effects of laser wavelength on proton emission from a palladium plasma. The results show that the proton yield is higher for shorter wavelengths at lower laser intensities, but it does not depend on the wavelength at higher laser intensities. The proton kinetic energy also varies depending on the wavelength.
