Nonlinear spectroscopy of high-spin fluctuations

Summary: This study theoretically and experimentally investigates fluctuations of high spin beyond the linear response regime in high power density probe fields, revealing significant modifications to the spin noise spectra. The research predicts and demonstrates effects related to the interplay of high spin and perturbations, such as strong sensitivity of the spin noise spectra to the orientation of the probe polarization plane and magnetic field direction, appearance of high harmonics of the Larmor frequency in the spin noise, and the fine structure of Larmor peaks. The study showcases the capability of spin noise spectroscopy to explore nonlinear effects caused by the renormalization of spin states by strong electromagnetic fields.
