In this study, it was found that post-operative hematoma significantly influences the incidence of diabetes insipidus, while neither tumour characteristics nor the choice of approach were associated with hematoma occurrence. Proper selection of approach and meticulous surgical technique should result in reduced morbidity and mortality.
