CoLoRe: fast cosmological realisations over large volumes with multiple tracers

Cesar Ramirez-Perez et al.

Summary: CoLoRe is a public software package that efficiently generates synthetic realizations of multiple cosmological surveys. It can simulate the growth of structure with different degrees of accuracy and generate various types of maps. CoLoRe has been tested against analytical theoretical predictions and showcased its performance in a multi-survey simulation. It can be particularly useful in studies aiming to characterize systematics, quantify covariance, and test cross-correlation pipelines for future surveys.

ShapeFit: extracting the power spectrum shape information in galaxy surveys beyond BAO and RSD

Samuel Brieden et al.

Summary: Recent works have shown that fitting the full power spectrum signal directly leads to tighter constraints on cosmological parameters, with an additional effective parameter capturing the same amount of information. The ShapeFit extension of the classic approach delivers equivalent results to the full modelling approach, being more model independent and providing an understanding of the extra cosmological information origin, while allowing robust control on observational systematics.

Cosmology beyond BAO from the 3D distribution of the Lyman-α forest

Andrei Cuceu et al.

Summary: A new method for fitting the full shape of Lyman-alpha forest 3D correlation function was proposed to measure the Alcock-Paczynski effect and improve cosmological constraints. The DESI Ly alpha BAO analysis is expected to accurately measure the Hubble parameter, comoving BAO scale, and comoving angular diameter distance.

Cobaya: code for Bayesian analysis of hierarchical physical models

Jesus Torrado et al.

Summary: Cobaya is a general-purpose Bayesian analysis code designed for models with complex internal interdependencies. It efficiently exploits interdependencies between different stages of a model pipeline, automatically caches intermediate results, and optimally sorts parameters to minimize computational costs during sampling. The code allows exploration of posteriors using Monte Carlo samplers, functions for maximization and importance-reweighting of samples, and can be extended and parallelized with minimal overhead per posterior evaluation.
