Characterization of palynological features of Cyclamen species native to Turkey and new approaches for their systematic significance

Omur Gencay Celemli

Summary: The study focuses on characterizing palynological features of Cyclamen species in Turkey and evaluating the similarities and differences between palynological and taxonomic classifications. Despite diverse pollen characteristics, a uniform microverrucate sculpturing pattern was observed among the investigated species. Based on PAST multivariate-cluster analysis, the 10 taxa were grouped into two major clusters.
