PVP-coated silver nanocubes as RRS probe for sensitive determination of Haloperidol in real samples

Rasoul Gheitaran et al.

Summary: The synthesis of polyol-silver nanocubes (Ag NCs) under dark conditions resulted in highly uniform and pure nanoparticles with an edge length of 42 nm. These nanoparticles, capped with polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), were used as Resonance Rayleigh Scattering (RRS) probes to measure the antipsychotic drug Haloperidol (Hp). The study found that Hp reduced the RRS signal of Ag NCs, and this change in intensity was linearly related to the concentration of Hp.

Fullerene carbon dot catalytic amplification-aptamer assay platform for ultratrace As+3 utilizing SERS/RRS/Abs trifunctional Au nanoprobes

Haolin Wang et al.

Summary: The study demonstrated the strong catalytic ability of Au-doped carbon dots synthesized using fullerene as a precursor under microwave conditions for generating gold nanoparticles. A new trimode Apt assay strategy was developed for detecting ultratrace As+3 based on the nanocatalytic reaction, which was characterized using multiple spectroscopic techniques. The aptamer-regulated CDAu catalytic amplification platform also proved effective in detecting Pb2+ and Hg2+ with good sensitivity.
