Biologics are being explored as a potential treatment option for severe uncontrolled CRSwNP, but their place in the treatment algorithm is still being debated. Effective endotyping of CRSwNP patients is necessary to identify those who would benefit from biologics treatment. Other factors such as comorbidities including allergies, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug-exacerbated respiratory disease, and asthma also impact treatment decisions. While a multidisciplinary approach may improve CRSwNP management in patients with comorbidities, there is currently no shared management model.
