A Simple but Efficient Ranking-Based Differential Evolution

Summary: Differential Evolution (DE) algorithm, a simple and effective method, has been widely used for solving complex optimization problems. In order to exploit the advantages of DE further, we propose a new variant called Ranking-based Differential Evolution (RDE), which performs ranking on the population to enhance the algorithm's exploitation and exploration capability. Experimental results on benchmark optimization functions demonstrate that RDE outperforms the original DE and performs competitively against other state-of-the-art DE variants.

Particle swarm-differential evolution algorithm with multiple random mutation
