Synthesis of amphiphilic dumbbell-like Janus nanoparticles through one-step coupling

Meiying He et al.

Summary: In this study, amphiphilic Janus nanoparticles with dumbbell-like structure were synthesized by connecting two silica nanospheres with differential wettability. The dumbbell-like particles showed a high success rate of coupling and exhibited great potential in various application fields such as optical and electrical engineering.
