Qifan Wang et al.

Summary: The new fluorescent probe DGGH can selectively detect Cu2+ and S2- by forming a DGGH-Cu2+ ensemble system with detection limits of 37.9 nM and 13.7 nM, respectively. It shows excellent performance within a wide pH range of 6 to 12, with a response time of less than 50 seconds. Additionally, DGGH can be applied for detecting Cu2+ and S2- in water samples, as well as monitoring these ions in living LNcap cells.
