Relationship of the different Ca sites in the matrix with luminescence properties of orange-red emitting Li0.04Ca0.96-xSiO3:Smx phosphors

The crystal structure, sites of cationic Ca, and luminescence properties of the prepared phosphors were characterized. The results show that as the Sm3+ concentration increases, the unit cell volume and Ca-O bond lengths decrease.

Preparation and luminescence characterization of Eu(III)-activated Forsterite for optoelectronic applications

Summary: Eu(III)-activated Forsterite nanophosphors were synthesized using sol-gel technique. The structural and phase purity of the materials were characterized by XRD and FT-IR studies. The nanophosphors exhibited aggregated particles with sizes ranging from 50 to 80 nm. The materials showed efficient excitation under UV light and emitted red fluorescence at 613 nm. The optical properties were analyzed using J-O analysis, which revealed the influence of covalent character and structural environment on the properties. The nanophosphors demonstrated bright red color, making them suitable for optoelectronic applications.

Structural and photoluminescence properties of Eu3+-activated BaTiO3 phosphors
