In this study, curcumin was successfully coated with ZIF-8 material and used as stable pigment to solve the problems of instability and low dyeing efficiency during storage and dyeing.
In order to solve the problems of instability, easy hydrolysis and low dyeing efficiency of curcumin during storage and dyeing, the zeolite imidazolate framework material ZIF-8 was used as a carrier to coat curcumin by physical method to prepare stable pigment. The ZIF-8 material and pigment were characterized by using instrumental analysis. The results showed that the synthesized ZIF-8 material had a very good structure and a large specific surface area, and the pigment stability was significantly improved. The coating experiment showed that when the amount of ZIF-8 was 200 mg, the time was 10 h, and the concentration of curcumin solution was 1.0 g/L, the maximum coating ratio was 91%.
