Analysis of Cattaneo-Christov heat flux in Jeffery fluid flow with heat source over a stretching cylinder

Zakir Hussain et al.

Summary: This analysis investigates stagnation point in Jeffery liquid flow over a stretchable cylinder, considering heat and mass transfer. The results show that larger relaxation time ratio parameter and Deborah number can reduce the magnitude of the drag coefficient.

Thermal improvement of linear Fresnel solar system utilizing Al2O3-water nanofluid and multi-way twisted tape

M. Sheikholeslami et al.

Summary: In this study, the thermal treatment of Linear Fresnel Reflector (LFR) unit was enhanced by the application of multi-way twisted tape (MWTT). Finite volume simulations were used to predict the flow and thermal performance, and SolTrace and ANSYS FLUET were used to extract the distribution of absorb flux. The results showed that the rotation, width, and number of wings of the twisted tape significantly affected the fluid flow and thermal efficiency.

Hydrothermal analysis for a parabolic solar unit with wavy absorber pipe and nanofluid

M. Sheikholeslami et al.

Summary: This article presents a numerical simulation for the thermal analysis of a parabolic trough collector (PTC) with a wavy absorber tube using the finite volume method. The study investigates the performance of a new wavy absorber tube in a solar system with a parabolic reflector. The results show that increasing the Reynolds number (Re) and the volume concentration can improve the heat transfer efficiency.

Tangent hyperbolic non-Newtonian radiative bioconvection nanofluid flow from a bi-directional stretching surface with electro-magneto-hydrodynamic, Joule heating and modified diffusion effects

J. Prakash et al.

Summary: This paper presents a theoretical study of bioconvection flow of a tangential hyperbolic nanofluid under mutually orthogonal electrical and magnetic fields. Various factors, such as thermal radiation, Joule heating, and heat source/sink effects, are considered. The study also implements non-Fourier and non-Fickian models with thermal and solutal relaxation. The results show the effects of different parameters on the flow properties, such as velocity, density of microorganisms, and temperature.

Insight in Thermally Radiative Cilia-Driven Flow of Electrically Conducting Non-Newtonian Jeffrey Fluid under the Influence of Induced Magnetic Field

Fehid Ishtiaq et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the mobility of cilia in a non-uniform tapered channel in the presence of an induced magnetic field and heat transfer. The Jeffrey fluid model is used to study the rheology of the fluid with cilia motion. By solving the formulated linear but coupled differential equations analytically, the physical mechanisms of significant parameters, such as velocity profile, magnetic force function, and current density, are described.

A Theoretical Investigation on the Heat Transfer Ability of Water-Based Hybrid (Ag-Au) Nanofluids and Ag Nanofluids Flow Driven by Electroosmotic Pumping Through a Microchannel

Javaria Akram et al.

Summary: This article investigates the peristaltically regulated electroosmotic pumping of water-based hybrid (Ag-Au) nanofluids through an inclined asymmetric microfluidic channel in a porous environment. A newly developed modified Buongiorno model is employed to predict the heat transfer attributes, and the influence of various physical parameters on the pumping characteristics is assessed through graphical results.
