Effect of Electrode Montage on 500-Hz Tone Burst Evoked Masseter Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potential

Vinayagar Pazhani Thirusangu et al.

Summary: This study compared the effect of zygomatic versus mandibular reference montage on the latency and amplitude of masseter VEMP (mVEMP) using a 500-Hz tone burst stimulus. The results showed no significant difference between the zygomatic and mandibular montage in young adults.

Tone Burst Masseter Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potentials: Normative Values and Test-Retest Reliability

Sangu Srinivasan Vignesh et al.

Summary: The study established normative values and determined the test-retest reliability of tone burst evoked mVEMP. The results showed robust responses and excellent test-retest reliability, indicating that tone burst mVEMP is a reliable test for evaluating the functional integrity of the vestibulomasseteric reflex pathway.
