Randomized controlled trial of the mySmartSkin web-based intervention to promote skin self-examination and sun protection among individuals diagnosed with melanoma

Summary: The study examined the impact of an online intervention called mySmartSkin on skin self-examination and sun protection behaviors among melanoma survivors, as well as the mediators of intervention effects. Results showed significant effects on both behaviors, with participants in the intervention group reporting greater engagement in skin self-examination and sun protection. Satisfaction with the intervention was high, and future research should focus on further enhancing treatment effects and engagement.
