Evaluation of interaction between emulsified asphalt and mineral powder using rheology

Wen Xu et al.

Summary: This study evaluated the interaction ability between emulsified asphalt and mineral powder based on rheological properties, applying K - B - G* and Delta G* models to measure the influence of temperature and loading frequency. Results showed that the physical interaction between emulsified asphalt and mineral powder is primarily physical in nature, with temperature having a greater impact than loading frequency. Additionally, the cationic emulsifier plays a significant role in enhancing the interaction between cationic emulsified asphalt and acid aggregate.
