Summary: Ferroelectric materials can generate current and power under shock compression by changing polarizations and surface bound charge. Lead-free materials like BNT-8BA ceramics exhibit phase transition-induced depolarization at lower pressures than their lead-containing counterparts, making them potential candidates for high-pressure applications.
