Strain-Driven Auto-Detachable Patterning of Flexible Electrodes

Zhisheng Lv et al.

Summary: This paper presents a shrinkage-assisted patterning method for fabricating multilayer, multimaterial, and conformal electrodes. The method utilizes evaporation-induced strain mismatch to print high-resolution, patterned, and multilayer electrodes. The electrodes can auto-detach from the filtration membrane due to the mismatch between the electrode and membrane strains. The method shows potential for high-energy density micro-supercapacitors and stable digital circuits on deformed surfaces.
