Improved Frequency Compensation Technique for Three-Stage Amplifiers

Alejandro Roman Loera et al.

Summary: Improved frequency compensation is proposed for a three-stage amplifier, which reduces total capacitance, improves slew rate, and reduces settling time. The proposed compensation uses auxiliary feedback to increase the total effective compensation capacitance without loading the output node. Simulation results show a reduction in total compensation capacitance and improvement in slew rate compared to conventional techniques.
