Easy axis anisotropy creating high contrast magnetic zones on magnetic tunnel junctions based molecular spintronics devices (MTJMSD)

Bishnu R. Dahal et al.

Summary: In this paper, Monte Carlo Simulations (MCS) are used to study the potential mechanism and explore the impact of magnetic anisotropy in Magnetic tunnel junction-based molecular spintronics devices (MTJMSD). The results show that as the easy-axis anisotropy increases, multiple domains of opposite spins appear on the ferromagnetic electrode, similar to the experimentally observed highly contrasting magnetic zones.

Interaction between magnetic molecules and two ferromagnetic electrodes of a magnetic tunnel junction (MTJ)

Marzieh Savadkoohi et al.

Summary: This study focused on investigating the effects of variations in molecular exchange coupling strengths and nature between the magnetic molecules and ferromagnetic electrodes in molecular spintronics devices through Monte Carlo simulations. The results showed that under specific molecular coupling strength conditions, molecular analogs could influence the magnetic properties of a large number of atoms.

Spin state of a single-molecule magnet (SMM) creating long-range ordering on ferromagnetic layers of a magnetic tunnel junction - a Monte Carlo study

Andrew Grizzle et al.

Summary: The interaction of paramagnetic single-molecule magnets (SMMs) with ferromagnetic electrodes in a magnetic tunnel junction (MTJ) creates a new system with properties and future potential different from isolated molecules and ferromagnets. A Monte Carlo Simulations (MCS) study focused on the impact of molecular spin state on a cross junction shaped MTJ based molecular spintronics device (MTJMSD) reveals that a strong coupling regime requires the molecular spin state to be around 30% of the ferromagnetic electrode's atomic spins for long-range correlated phases to form.
