Comparative Analysis for 6Li+58Ni System Within the Framework of Various Nuclear Potentials

Sh Hamada et al.

Summary: In this study, the angular distributions of Li-6 + Ni-58 in the energy range of 9.9-600 MeV were reanalyzed using various interaction potentials. The cluster structure of Li-6 was considered for generating the Li-6 + Ni-58 cluster folding potential. Reasonable fits of data were obtained at all energies within the considered potentials. The reduction in the strength of microscopic potential is mainly attributed to the dissociation of Li-6 and the high probability of Li-6 clusterization.

Reanalysis of 6Li+90Zr angular distributions using different nuclear potentials

Sh Hamada et al.

Summary: This study reanalyzes the experimental data of Li-6 elastically scattered from a Zr-90 target, and finds that different potentials can effectively represent the phenomenon of break-up threshold anomaly. Additionally, the real part of potential generated based on double folding and cluster folding models is observed to weaken for weakly bound projectiles such as Li-6.

Elastic and Inelastic Scattering of 9,10,11Be by 64Zn and 120Sn Nuclei at Different Energies

Awad A. Ibraheem et al.

Summary: This study investigates the elastic and inelastic scattering of Be-9 + Sn-120 and Be-9,Be-10,Be-11 + Zn-64 in the context of the double folding optical model. Using derived potentials, successful reproduction of observed angular distributions of elastic and inelastic scattering differential cross-sections was achieved. Special attention was paid to the contributions of Sn-120 excited states in forming the inelastic data observed at specific energy levels.

Detailed analysis for 6Li+40Ca elastic scattering using different potentials

Sh Hamada et al.

Summary: The experimental data of the Li-6+C-40 nuclear system in the energy range of 20-240 MeV have been reanalyzed using various models, showing reasonable fits. The study indicates that the strength of the real cluster folding potentials needs to be reduced by about 44%-54% to describe the experimental data accurately, considering the cluster structure of Li-6 and its breakup effects on other reaction channels.

Cluster folding optical potential analysis for 6Li + 28Si elastic scattering

Sh Hamada et al.

Summary: Experimental angular distributions for Li-6 + Si-28 elastic scattering in the energy range of 16-318 MeV are reanalyzed phenomenologically using an optical model and cluster folding potential. Theoretical calculations based on different potentials show good agreement with experimental data, and extracted parameters are consistent with previously reported values.

Further investigation of 10,11B+58Ni elastic scattering

Awad A. Ibraheem et al.

Summary: The analysis of the B-10, B-11 + Ni-58 nuclear systems using different potentials revealed the need to reduce the strength of the double and cluster folding potentials to reflect the weak binding nature of the B-10 and B-11 nuclei. Surprisingly, a renormalization factor of N (RCF) = 1.24 +/- 0.064 was extracted for the B-11 + Ni-58 system.
