Heat enhancement analysis of the hybridized micropolar nanofluid with Cattaneo-Christov and stratification effects

Shafiq Ahmad et al.

Summary: This article examines the steady bio-convective hybridized micropolar nanofluid flow with stratification conditions above a vertical exponentially stretching surface. The study found that the increase in solid volume fraction leads to a decrease in velocity near the boundary and an increase away from the boundary. Furthermore, increasing the Peclet number, microorganism stratification parameters, and bio-convection Schmidt number results in a decrease in microbial distribution.

Combined impact of Marangoni convection and thermophoretic particle deposition on chemically reactive transport of nanofluid flow over a stretching surface

Javali Kotresh Madhukesh et al.

Summary: This study investigates the Marangoni convection flow of Al2O3/water-based nanofluid over a stretching sheet in a porous medium with thermophoretic particle deposition (TPD) and Newtonian heating. The velocity of the nanofluid is influenced by the Marangoni number and porosity parameter, while the heat absorption/generation parameter improves thermal dispersion. The thermophoretic parameter affects the concentration and rate of mass transfer, and the heat source and heat sink parameters influence the rate of heat transfer. Nanofluid outperforms viscous fluid in all cases.

Computational analysis of the unsteady 3D chemically reacting MHD flow with the properties of temperature dependent transpose suspended Maxwell nanofluid

Shafiq Ahmad et al.

Summary: This study investigates an unsteady three-dimensional Maxwell nanofluid flow with variable viscosity and thermal conductivity over a stretching surface. Numerical solutions of coupled ODEs are obtained using MATLAB software, and graphical results are used to illustrate heat and mass transfer characteristics for different parameters. The findings show that the velocity of the fluid decreases with increasing Deborah number, while it increases with an increase in the variable viscosity parameter. Additionally, the Nusselt and Sherwood numbers decrease with the unsteadiness parameter, and higher variable thermal conductivity leads to a decrease in heat transfer rate.

Mathematical Analysis of Thermal Energy Distribution in a Hybridized Mixed Convective Flow

Shafiq Ahmad et al.

Summary: This study investigates the mixed convective flow of hybrid nanofluid past a Riga surface in a porous medium, using Darcy Forchheimer effect in the momentum equation and exploring heat transfer phenomenon with viscous dissipation and thermal stratification. The numerical results of nonlinear governing equations are collected and analyzed for the effects on velocity, skin friction, and temperature. It is found that the temperature field is higher for hybrid nanofluid compared to simple nanofluid with increasing solid volume fraction, and the axial friction factor increases with the solid volume fraction and porosity parameter.
