Pilose antler polypeptides promote chemosensitization and T-cell infiltration of triple-negative breast cancer

Mohan Li et al.

Summary: The study found that the combination of PAWP and NAC treatment effectively reduces tumor growth, alleviates weight loss, and increases immune cell levels and T cell infiltration. Additionally, the combination treatment also leads to decreased expression of specific cytokines and proteins.

Association between cellular immune response and spleen weight in mice with hepatocellular carcinoma

Wei Jiang et al.

Summary: The study revealed that spleen weight can be used to predict the cellular immune response in tumor-bearing mice and is positively correlated with tumor weight. In tumor-bearing mice, spleen weight is positively correlated with the percentages of M-MDSC and PMN-MDSCs.

Moringa Oleifera Seed Extract Concomitantly Supplemented with Chemotherapy Worsens Tumor Progression in Mice with Triple Negative Breast Cancer and Obesity

Elizabeth R. M. Zunica et al.

Summary: Moringa, a tropical plant with anti-obesity and anti-cancer effects, can improve metabolic health in mice with obesity and TNBC, reduce tumor angiogenesis, but may have negative interactions when used in combination with chemotherapy for breast cancer treatment. Further investigation into alternative timings of moringa therapy is needed.

Sevoflurane Modulates AKT Isoforms in Triple Negative Breast Cancer Cells. An Experimental Study

Crina E. Tiron et al.

Summary: This study demonstrated that exposure of TNBC cells to sevoflurane resulted in morphological and behavioral changes, as well as differential regulation of AKT isoforms, especially early upregulation of AKT3. Treatment with sevoflurane at specific time points and concentrations significantly increased cell viability, proliferation, aggressiveness, and expression of vimentin and HIF.
