Zipper-like thermosensitive molecularly imprinted polymers based on konjac glucomannan for metformin hydrochloride

Kai An et al.

Summary: Zipper-like thermosensitive molecularly imprinted polymers based on konjac glucomannan were prepared in this study, demonstrating excellent selectivity, repeatability, and stability in adsorption experiments. By controlling the external temperature, the adsorption and desorption of target molecules can be achieved, showing potential applications as a novel adsorption and separation material.

Doxycycline hyclate-loaded in situ forming gels composed from bleached shellac, Ethocel, and Eudragit RS for periodontal pocket delivery

Setthapong Senarat et al.

Summary: Polymeric materials are essential in controlling drug release in antimicrobial-loaded in situ forming gels for periodontitis treatment. Among the three polymers compared in this study, Ethocel and Eudragit RS exhibited high antimicrobial activity and sustained drug release, making them potential candidates for localized periodontal drug delivery systems.
