Topology optimization of heat source distribution for volume-to-point heat conduction

Summary: This paper develops a topology optimization scheme to optimize the heat source distribution, achieving better designs with higher cooling performance and lower computational cost. The performance of different heat source distributions is evaluated using an equivalent distance function, revealing that reducing the equivalent distance between the heat source and the heat sink is an effective way to enhance heat transport.
