Retrospective comparison of high-resolution computed tomography of eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis with severe asthma

Xiaofeng Lin et al.

Summary: The study compared pulmonary radiologic features of patients with EGPA and severe asthma, finding that EGPA patients had more common features such as bronchial wall thickening, air trapping, and higher total image score. The area under the ROC curve for identifying EGPA and severe asthma was 0.904 and 0.974, respectively, indicating the usefulness of HRCT in differentiating between the two conditions.
