Water-soluble copper(II) complexes based on novel phosphorylpyridines, diethyl(pyridin-2-yl) phosphine oxide (3) and diisopropyl(pyridin-2-yl)phosphine oxide (4), were synthesized and their molecular and crystal structures were determined by X-ray analysis. The cytotoxicity of the ligands and complexes against M-HeLa and HuTu80 cancer cell lines as well as Chang liver normal cell lines was evaluated.
Water-soluble copper(II) complexes based on novel phosphorylpyridines, namely, diethyl(pyridin-2-yl) phosphine oxide (3), diisopropyl(pyridin-2-yl)phosphine oxide (4) were obtained. The molecular and crystal structures of complexes were established by X-ray analysis. The cytotoxicity against M-HeLa and HuTu80 cancer cell lines and Chang liver normal cell lines was examined for all obtained ligands and complexes.
