Two novel metallated phosphino ligands [(eta(5)-Cp)Fe(eta(6)-C6H5PPh2)](PF6) and [(eta(5)-Cp)Fe(eta(6)-1,2-C6H4(PPh2)(2))](PF6) have successfully been synthesized. Therein, the phosphane moieties are directly bound to the cationic (eta(5)-Cp)Fe fragment. By reaction of [(eta(5)-Cp)Fe(eta(6)-C6H5PPh2)](PF6) with (thiophene) AuCI, the heterobimetallic complex [(eta(5)-Cp)Fe(eta(6)-C6H5PPh2(AuCl))][PF6] was obtained in good yields. It was characterized spectroscopically as well as by X-ray structure analysis. (C) 2016 Published by Elsevier B.V.
