Low-Rank Tensor Graph Learning for Multi-View Subspace Clustering

Yongyong Chen et al.

Summary: Graph and subspace clustering methods have become mainstream in multi-view clustering. However, they suffer from decreased performance when dealing with noisy and outlier-distorted raw data, as well as failing to explore high correlation. To address these issues, we propose a novel multi-view clustering method called Low-Rank Tensor Graph (LRTG). LRTG simultaneously learns representation and affinity matrix, using Tucker decomposition and l(2,1)-norm to mitigate noise, and an adaptive neighbor scheme to form a flexible graph for clustering. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of LRTG over seventeen state-of-the-art clustering methods.

Latent multi-view self-representations for clustering via the tensor nuclear norm

Gui-Fu Lu et al.

Summary: This paper proposes a new MVSC algorithm, LMVS/TNN, which seamlessly unifies multi-view clustering and dimensionality reduction into a framework. By learning transformed data and subspace representation matrices, LMVS/TNN can maintain the original manifold structure and utilize high-order correlations and complementary information from multi-view data.

A semi-supervised learning algorithm via adaptive Laplacian graph

Yuan Yuan et al.

Summary: Many semi-supervised learning methods, especially graph-based approaches, have been developed and achieved satisfactory performance. Graph quality directly impacts classification accuracy, but algorithms often use k-Nearest Neighbor, leading to inaccuracies due to outliers. Limited labeled data and potential errors in labels can be addressed by ALGSSL, which adapts and regularizes the graph for improved performance.

General fuzzy C-means clustering algorithm using Minkowski metric

Kaixin Zhao et al.

Summary: The paper proposes a general FCM clustering algorithm based on contraction mapping (cGFCM) for more general cases using Minkowski metric, providing an analytical method for calculating the parameters. The algorithm's core is the construction of a contraction mapping to update prototypes, guided by the Banach contraction mapping principle, with proven correctness and feasibility. Furthermore, experimental studies show that the proposed cGFCM algorithm extends FCM to more general cases with improved performance and reduced running time compared to other clustering methods.
