Barriers and Factors Associated with HPV Vaccination Among American Indians and Alaska Natives: A Systematic Review

Summary: This study conducted a systematic review to identify barriers and factors related to HPV vaccination among American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) populations in the United States. The findings highlighted the most common barriers at the individual level, including concerns about vaccine safety and lack of knowledge about the HPV vaccine. The results emphasize the need for interventions targeting AI/AN populations to increase HPV vaccination adoption and coverage and prevent further disparities.
