A nonlinear modeling of fractional order based variational model in optical flow estimation

Summary: In this paper, a nonlinear fractional order variational model is proposed for estimating optical flow. The model combines a non-quadratic data term and a Marchaud fractional derivative regularization term to handle discontinuous information and generate dense flow fields. Experimental results on different datasets and comparisons with other models demonstrate the robustness and accuracy of the proposed model.
