The electrolyte can be easily adjusted by immersing it in saline solutions with different concentrations. The resistive-type hydrogel strain sensors show high gauge factor and fast response time, and can accurately monitor various human movements.

Swelling and glyphosate-controlled release behavior of multi-responsive alginate-g-P(NIPAm-co-NDEAm)-based hydrogel

This crosslinker-based approach has the potential to expand the applications of hydrogels, particularly in the development of artificial tissues.

Smart Actuators Based on External Stimulus Response

Challenges and future prospects in the field have also been discussed.

Optimized diffusion of entrapped molecules was achieved by varying dissolution conditions and initial formulations.
