68Ga-NODAGA-Exendin-4 PET/CT Improves the Detection of Focal Congenital Hyperinsulinism

Marti Boss et al.

Summary: This study compared the performance of F-18-DOPA PET/CT and Ga-68-NODAGA-exendin-4 PET/CT in the preoperative detection of focal congenital hyperinsulinism (CHI). The results showed that Ga-68-NODAGA-exendin-4 PET/CT had higher sensitivity and better interobserver correlation, as well as better image quality, making it more effective for surgeons in locating the lesions before surgery.
