Land suitability analysis for paddy crop using GIS-based Fuzzy-AHP (F-AHP) method in Koch Bihar district, West Bengal

By assessing 18 criteria and assigning weightage based on expert opinion and Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (F-AHP) method, the study identified important factors such as rainfall, soil texture, slope, and elevation for developing LSA for paddy cultivation. Results showed areas classified as highly suitable, moderately suitable, marginally suitable, and not suitable for paddy cultivation, with a reliable AUC value (0.869) confirming the effectiveness of the F-AHP approach. The findings provide valuable insights for sustainable agricultural planning and potential sites for paddy cultivation.

Failure prioritization and control using the neutrosophic best and worst method
