Highly stable selenium nanoparticles: Assembly and stabilization via flagellin FliC and porin OmpF in Rahnella aquatilis HX2

Summary: This study reveals that the plant growth-promoting rhizobacterium Rahnella aquatilis HX2 can produce highly stable biogenic selenium nanoparticles (BioSeNPs), with the proteins FliC and OmpF identified as playing a key role in their assembly and stability. These stable BioSeNPs could have diverse applications in nutritional supplementation and nanomedicine.
