Urban power load profiles under ageing transition integrated with future EVs charging

Research on hourly-basis knowledge gaps exists due to challenges in microanalysis of user behavior. Through the analysis of billions of users' data, it was found that population ageing leads to a decrease in participation in high electricity-density activities, resulting in a 14% difference between peak charging load and valley, and will significantly change the magnitude and shape of future dynamic load profiles. It is suggested to have comprehensive and quantitative management for PVs development and the smart charging market to deal with potential challenges caused by ageing.
