Summary: The study found that the compression of the cuff during NIBP measurement can cause momentary changes in SpO(2), mainly leading to an increase in blood oxygenation level. These changes are not correlated with factors such as sex, age, height, body weight, BMI, HR, and blood pressure. Frequent NIBP measurements may result in misleading conclusions about SpO(2) levels.
