Factors associated with progression of different prediabetic status to Diabetes: A Community-based cohort study

The results showed that individuals with combined IFG and IGT were at a higher risk of progressing to diabetes compared to those with IFG alone. Males, obese individuals, higher BMI and WHR, and hypertension were positively associated with the progression to diabetes, while HOMA-b was negatively associated with the progression to diabetes.
