Effect of proanthocyanidins on blood pressure: A systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials

Jingyi Ren et al.

Summary: PCs supplementation can significantly reduce systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, and mean arterial pressure, but has no significant effect on pulse pressure. Stratified analysis by study duration and BMI revealed different trends in the effects. Low-dose PCs were found to significantly lower blood pressure. Meta-regression analysis did not show dose effects of PCs on blood pressure.
