Antibacterial Electroconductive Composite Coating of Cotton Fabric

Tomasz Makowski et al.

Summary: Graphene oxide was deposited and thermally reduced on cotton fabric, leading to electrical conductivity. The resulting fabric was then used for electrochemical deposition of silver particles. Only the silver/reduced graphene oxide composite coating exhibited antibacterial properties and superhydrophobicity.

Ultrathin Polydopamine-Graphene Oxide Hybrid Coatings on Polymer Filters with Improved Filtration Performance and Functionalities

Pratik S. Kasbe et al.

Summary: A simple, effective, and low-cost method was proposed to functionalize PP filters with antimicrobial and photothermal properties. By depositing an ultrathin hybrid coating composed of graphene oxide (GO) and polydopamine on the surface of PP filters by spraycoating, the filtration efficiency of PP filters was significantly improved with added antimicrobial capability.
